President’s message

Under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist and glorify Him, the 17th edition of the Salon du Cheval d’El Jadida will take place from October 13 to 18, 2026.

Since its inception in 2008, the Salon du Cheval d’El Jadida has steadily established itself as a benchmark event, experiencing continuous growth in terms of infrastructure, organisation, quality of hospitality, and national and international outreach. It has played a decisive role in promoting, structuring, and modernising the national equine sector, which has achieved significant progress, particularly in the field of equestrian arts and traditions.

Furthermore, the Salon du Cheval d’El Jadida plays a major role in preserving, promoting, and transmitting Morocco’s equestrian cultural heritage. It embodies a collective dynamic aimed at safeguarding our ancestral legacy while resolutely adapting it to the requirements and challenges of the contemporary world. This strategic vision is supported by the constant and exemplary commitment of our institutional and private partners, whose contributions have been instrumental in ensuring the growth and sustainability of this event.

The programme for this 17th edition will be distinguished by the richness and diversity of its activities, highlighting the horse’s many roles across cultural, artistic, sporting, educational, and recreational dimensions. Through this programme, the Salon reaffirms its commitment to actively supporting the development of the equine sector and raising public awareness of its economic, cultural, and social challenges.

As in previous editions, the Salon du Cheval d’El Jadida is expected to welcome a large and diverse audience, including enthusiasts, families, visitors, and national and international professionals from the sector. As a true platform for meetings, exchanges, and partnerships, it provides a privileged space for all stakeholders in the equine world, helping to strengthen synergies between breeders, riders, artisans, researchers, institutions, sponsors, and exhibitors.

At the international level, the Salon du Cheval d’El Jadida has established itself over the years as a leading event and is now recognised as one of the world’s major equestrian gatherings. The quality of its programme, combined with the professionalism of its organisation, makes it a must-attend event on the international equestrian calendar.
